Amotus Aligns with Canada’s Voluntary Code of Conduct on AI Development through Dimonoff’s Commitment

Dimonoff has joined Canada’s Voluntary Code of Conduct on the Responsible Development and Management of Advanced Generative AI Systems. As Dimonoff’s IoT software division, we fully embrace this commitment, reaffirming our shared dedication to responsibly advancing artificial intelligence (AI). Together, we align with key industry leaders across Canada to create safe, ethical, and innovative AI solutions that benefit businesses and communities alike.

Pioneering Responsible AI Development

Amotus has built a reputation for delivering cutting-edge IoT design and development services across North America and Europe. Through close collaboration with Dimonoff, we share a vision of responsibly advancing AI in connected asset technologies. Dimonoff’s adoption of the voluntary AI code strengthens the ethical foundation of the AI-powered solutions we develop, ensuring they meet rigorous standards for safety and accountability. Together, we are setting a benchmark for responsible AI in the IoT sector.

By aligning with this national initiative, Dimonoff and Amotus contribute to Canada’s broader mission of fostering public trust in AI technologies while driving innovation responsibly. With 40 organizations committing to this code, we are proud to be part of a collaborative effort to shape a future where AI empowers communities and businesses ethically.

“Artificial intelligence is changing the world, and it is vital that Canada remain at the forefront to create an ecosystem that encourages the safe and responsible use of AI. Our government is committed to ensuring Canadians and Canadian businesses can take advantage of this evolving technology while also being protected from its risks. It is excellent news that so many organizations have signed on to the voluntary code of conduct to help build trust and safety as our AI industry grows.”

The Role of AI in IoT and Connected Assets

Dimonoff’s decision to join Canada’s voluntary AI code enhances the integrity of the AI-powered IoT design and development services we deliver at Amotus. Our IoT Platform as a Service (PaaS), Fundamentum, exemplifies this commitment by providing a secure, scalable, and adaptable environment for managing connected devices. Fundamentum employs robust encryption protocols, including TLS for data transmission and OAuth 2.0 for user authentication, ensuring that all communications are both secure and compliant with industry standards.

Built on a microservices architecture, Fundamentum reflects the principles of responsible AI development outlined in Canada’s Voluntary Code. The platform enables seamless device provisioning, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and real-time remote monitoring, empowering businesses to scale their IoT deployments securely and efficiently. With its integrated ML/AI Engine, Fundamentum extends these capabilities by transforming IoT data into actionable insights that align with ethical and innovative AI practices.

The ML/AI Engine leverages advanced machine learning workflows, continuous training, and auto-tuning to ensure that models adapt responsibly to evolving data. These features not only optimize operations but also support informed decision-making, reducing downtime and promoting sustainable practices. By integrating such advanced tools into its IoT solutions, Amotus demonstrates a commitment to fostering trust, security, and ethical innovation in alignment with Dimonoff’s leadership in responsible AI.

DevOps and AI practices

The platform also integrates advanced DevSecOps practices, embedding security throughout the development lifecycle. Automated security testing and compliance checks ensure IoT applications are resilient against threats, while continuous monitoring enables quick identification and mitigation of vulnerabilities.

“With this new commitment, we look forward to supporting Canadian businesses and the broader global IoT landscape in achieving the next generation of connected, AI-enhanced solutions that protect the rights, safety, and privacy of users.”
